About Us

Our Why

Founded in 2012, Dusty Boots was created with the belief that horses can transform lives. After 28 years as a pediatric physical therapist, Stacey Creps knew that therapy needed something more—something that could improve strength, balance, and confidence in ways traditional methods couldn’t. Combining her passion for horses with her therapy expertise, Stacey launched Dusty Boots with just one pony and a dream.

Today, Dusty Boots offers much more than riding lessons. Through hippotherapy and adaptive riding, the horse’s natural movement becomes a powerful tool for therapy. The rhythmic, three-dimensional motion mimics the human gait, helping riders improve coordination, strength, and balance. But the benefits go deeper—riders also gain confidence, independence, and a strong connection with their horse.

Serving all ages and abilities, Dusty Boots is a welcoming space for everyone. With 35 horses and programs like competitive show teams, adaptive lessons, and events like Girls Night Out, the barn has become a place for growth, community, and empowerment.

At Dusty Boots, the impact of horses goes beyond riding—they help people of all ages discover their strength and potential.

Founder | Stacey Creps

Stacey Creps is the founder and owner of Dusty Boots, where she combines her lifelong passion for horses with over 28 years of experience as a pediatric physical therapist. She’s a Certified Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist, accredited by the American Hippotherapy Association, and a certified, registered instructor with PATH International.

Inspired by both her daughter Molly, who lives with special needs, and her work with special needs children, Stacey co-founded Sensational Kids, a daycare and K-6 program offering integrated therapy services. Dusty Boots grew from her desire to bring the benefits of horses to those with special needs, starting with just one child and one pony. Now, Stacey continues to provide life-changing therapy through hippotherapy, making a difference for every rider who walks through the barn doors.
